Hi there, nice to finally join you**
I shall be arriving in Taiwan late January with my primary goal being to find ballet and contemporary dance lessons taught in English, a reputable talent agency-with the hopes of some commercial work- and then start spreading the word for private tutoring classes. I am asking your help in finding good sites re: recreation/arts where I can find this important info that will determine which city I shall live in. I have had no luck in my searches including .com/allhou/tainanscene.htm , meintaiwan.dairyland.com and also emailing (with no reply) the large dance acadamies with hopes that someone could direct me to these lessons. Should I simply assume that there are dance lessons taught in English? Next off, deciding between Taichung- is it as dangerous there as anywhere else?, the pollution that much worse than Tainan?, truly that competitive? or [u]Tainan[/u]- read that most only speak the Taiwanese dialect, frequent deportations by folks teaching under a student visa and due to it being less of a recreational hot spot therefore slim chances of finding...a good, diverse range of live music to dance to? Lastly is there a site where I can get in contact with those living in Tainan and Taichung in need of a roomate or someone to take over their place if they're movin on, or selling furniture?
Truly appreciate your tips everyone*** All the best, Charity |
