I have not seen any copy shops or decent resume caliber paper anywhere yet. What advice do people have for printing one's resume?

Every 7-11 and Family mart has a photocopy machine inside. They only have regular paper, but should suffice. Fancy bond paper likely isn't necessary for esl job searches. Sometimes, even a resume is not completely necessary. Some places have application forms and, at others, you can simply pass them a name card. If they're looking, they may interview you and hire you on the spot. If you really want fancy paper, the major electronics chain 3C in Taoyuan (Zhongli too; not sure what's around in Longtan) has a pretty good selection of good paper. Copy stores are around, but you likely need to know some Chinese to recognize them and use their services. You can take your fancy bond paper to the 7-11 and ask them to use it when copying your resume.

Print one before you come here on quality paper. Then laminate it, before you come here.

I arrived at the end of June, with three copies of my resume on good quality paper. Three days later, I had only one left in serviceable condition - two others had almost completely disintegrated from the humidity in the air.

The third was starting to smudge, and was limp. Laminate all your important documents, if you can. The air here will kill them in summer.

Only one problem with that plan. She's already "here."

That's sort of what I was saying - a bit too late now.
