I have to do the leg work to secure a teaching permit, visa, work permit for a new teacher. My school has all the necessary documentation but is new and has no idea on how to go about it.
They ended up making me a directer/ manager to get me my work visa aetceven though I am a teacher, though now i am also unofficial principle.
They want to do it right for the next teacher and eventual change my status but how do we do it. What is the Chinese name for the government contract mentioned, does the form have a number, where do I get it from.
Then do I get the medical, visa, then work and resident permits. Can anyone help us out there? |

My answer will no doubt fall short of your expectations, but to some extent I can guide you:
Go to the Gong'an Ju, or the PSB, to ask them who in their organisation handles foreign job applications; they should have one entire department dealing with such queries and visas.
There, you should ask which hospital or clinic they want you to tjob applicant to for the medical exam; they will tell you the name and address of one or several ones designated to perform such exams.
I don't know if you need a special permit to hire this foreign person; this you will no doubt have to apply for at the local Labour Bureau.
Don't forget to ask the PSB about the residence permit for your future employee! The PSB approve such residence rights. |

I put a post on your other message here. Go to www.speedbusiness.com.cn and read through all the documents in the Expatriate Affairs area.
I don't know the contract name in Chinese but the State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs is where you get your expert certificates and also the numbered contract you are talking about.
Sorry I don't know where they are in your city. |
