I`d love to move to NZ with my girlfriend, but am, of course, aware that the ESL market is slow and unlikely to provide me with a residence visa. So, what are my options since I have no other trade than ESL? Would a DELTA help? or is the best thing to get a PGCE and become a "real" (!) teacher?
Thanks for reading. Any advice gratefully received. |

Depends on where you are from, some people can get holiday visas and work for a year or two. |

You should just get a working holiday visa and thensee if a school or a company with later sponser a regualar visa. Contact your embassy, i'm sure taht they would have info. |

You would certainly help your residency application if your 'real teacher' subjects included maths, science and/or Maori. |
