Hey everyone,

I have some friends coming in late november and they plan on staying in Osaka for a couple of nights. Does anyone have any contact information on affordable lodging near the Kansai AP? Thanks for any help on this matter.

Things are going to be expensive around/near Kansai airport. I know of a really affordable hotel along the Kita-Senri Hankyu line, but it's about an hour and a half from Kansai airport. I can't remember the name of the hotel, but if you head towards Kita-Senri via Hankyu, get off at the station between Senriyama and Yamada. You'll see a huge building connected by walkway to the train station. Floors 4 and above, I believe, are the hotel. It's really easy to find, it's right next to the station, and it's relatively cheap. I don't know, though, if that would be a good location for when your friends visit. If you can, try and find lodging around the outskirts of Osaka. Your friends will have to ride the train for at least an hour or so, but they'll save a lot of money in room costs.

try this place, they have an online discount system in english. I have used it for car rental reservations and found it cheap - kinda so so for hotels.
