Your timing isn't very good. This is time of the year is probably one of the worst for looking for a job. Late winter early spring is the best. Check out jobsjapan, gaijinpot and ohayosensei. Good luck. |

The fastest way to find a job from Nagoya is to post your ad in the international centre in Nagoya (it's free). It's in Fushimi & you can take the train & post it there. I know that my boss goes there to check once in a while when she needs new part-time or full-time teachers who are already living in the area. Our school is not located in Nagoya but my boss still goes there to check, so I'm sure that other local schools check there more often.
Sorry I can't be much help cuz I don't live in Nagoya. Good luck! |

I live very close to Nagoya.
What kind of job would you prefer to have? Public or private school?

The International center (Kokusai Center) is not located in Fushimi. It has it's own stop on the Sakura Dori Line(red line) called Kokusai Center and is one stop from Nagoya. And actually if you know how, its not a difficult walk from Nagoya station(above or underground).
The boards on the 3rd floor at the center are mainly for people looking to pick up private students and not for seeking employment.
However, across the hall from the boards is their library and in there you can find things such as the Japan Times(which posts jobs on Mondays in bulk) etc. However, the best way remains to check out websites already mentioned. |
