Hello all,

I have just picked up a WHV application at the Japanese Embassy here in Ottawa. I though it may help if I scanned the forms and posted them here.

It outlines in detail, all the prerequisites for the visa, the procedure and the estimated processing time. I have also included the actual form and the requested schedule form.

Now I need some help as I am not very computer savvy. I have scanned all the documents and saved them as PDF files. What is the best way to post them here ? Or would it be better if people just emailed me and I send them the files as an attachment ?

board rules prohibit people putting job wanted or job ads on the board as it constitutes an advertisement (I have on occasion placed notices about jobs though I'm not hiring anyone but for the sake of example of what to watch out for,which is not really allowed either)

Just post your questions. Many of us are familiar with the process or have had a working holiday visa.

You need to be under 30.
You can't have had a working holiday visa to the country before.
You need to have enough money to support yourself before you leave.

The spirit of the working holiday visa is to travel and work, not just work. Pretty simple process. See the doctor, get a clean bill of health, do the paper work, have a passport etc. Not rocket science.
