Dervish. I resent your comments re. the American President. He is a man of vision, courage and has no time for mental Arabs.

This has got to be a joke, I don't know what Dervish said about G.Bush II.
What ever it was could not be enough. That any one who is not a bible carrying member of the rep party could think that G.Bush II is anything more than the greast fool the world as ever seen is just unthinkable. Please wake up,

PLEASE do not let this degenerate into an American political thread. There are enough of those threads on the General Discussion forum.

Hey, just a minute, I am a Christian and yes, I "carry my Bible", but I am not pro-Bush and pro-war and despite having strong beliefs, I was shocked by what this whatizname said about Bush and the "arabs", I was going to write my word of protest against it, all kinds of prejudice and generalizations are wrong, I don't think people should kill in the name of any religion, Jesus' message was a message of love, I don't know much about Muhammed's message, but all I know is that I have lots of Muslim friends and they are wonderful people and I love them very much. When are people going to stop blaming religion for everything wrong that happens in the world??? Bush can go to a church, pray, whatever, but he is anything but a true Christian, I can say it without a doubt, because none of the apostles or Jesus himself incited soldiers against any nation, whoever does it, whoever kills in the name if Jesus or Muhammed or whoever are no more than cruel people even if they carry a huge cross, the Kuran, the Torah, etc... I am so sorry this forum was turned into something other than an ESL forum... it's probably due to the unqualified backpackers who come to this country with one single qualification: "native speaker" (I am not generalizing, I know there are qualified native speakers working here, too).
I am sorry for my indignation.
