I'm currently teaching here in Korea but when I leave here in Sept 2005, I want to continue travelling east asia and south america.

It would ideal to continue to work/teach at the same time to keep the cost down...so I am wondering if it is possible to get any short term contracts.

I hope to visit India, thailand, malaysia, maybe china, and Peru

All advice gratefully received

I have no idea how it works in other countries, but one of the possible problems with short contracts where I am located is that it's not worth the cost of a work visa if a person is going to work for less than a year. In this city most schools don't help pay for work visas, and most reputable schools don't hire foreigners to work illegally.

The shortest term you'll find acceptable in Latin America is perhaps 4 months, though 6 is more reasonable.
