[quote="mitch_mooney"][color=green]Im planning on doing the TESL in Taiwan next fall (2005). I spend a countless amount of hours on the net reading people's blogs, looking at job ads and finding out absolutely anything I can about Taiwan.
I have never travelled out of Canada by myself. So on one hand I am soooo excited to be doing this even though it is still far away before I do. And on the other hand I can't believe how scared I am too.
Do you remember what it was like for you? Were you scared? I think it would help to know how other people felt and maybe possibly scary stories that turned out good in the end?
Im new here ... so do it to me! haha

I was so scared! In fact, I still am scared! I often cry myself to sleep because of living in such fear! Eventually China is going to invade. Most of all I get frustrated because everyone does everything differently here in Taiwan. I am so homesick it sickens me! |

Well thanks for fun of my post. But I am not a forum virgin, so I am used to the quorkiness as well as the serious posts.
Kudos on a good laugh . |

OOPS! I guess if I want to teach English, I should get used to checking for mistakes first before posting for all to read. (grammar error on last post) oh well ... just one more thing to poke fun at . |
