I am currently teaching in Japan and want to go to CR from August through December. Does any one know of any schools that give short term contracts? Any advice would help. Thanks |

I doubt if you will find a four month contract in Czech(or many other places, for that matter). Most schools want someone who will make more of a commitment than that.Of course, you could just work for four months, then pull a runner,if the ethics of doing that do not bother you. |

Many contracts include a proviso (eg. 1-2 month's notice) in case a teacher wants to ends a contract early. |

The only places where I have seen such short contracts are Libya and Saudi Arabia. Most of the EFL world still works on the 12-month year. Even private language schools, which do not have an acadamic year like schools and colleges, seem to stick to the same pattern. |
