You too Nismo!

My roommate and I definitely agreed that last night was one of the most fun we have had in Japan!

I spent New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at home with my husband. We played video games and watched Star wars and Return of the Jedi and we ordered dominoe's pizza. A good time was had by all.

Thanks, Nismo!

I spent the evening at a friend's house, just relaxing and enjoying some wine/champagne and good company. It was much easier than driving into the city to party. Got a late start to the day today--out of bed at 10am (VERY late for me!!!) and then grabbed my snowboard and jumped in my car.

Happy new year, ladies and gents!

Had my best ever New Year's Eve & what will hopefully be my last in England for a fair few years.

Happy New Year to each and all of you and all of your friends, loved ones, pets, neighbours and arch enemies.

For the past years my husband and I have been doing New Years Japanese style; staying at home eating long noodles for a long life and eating osechi.

This year he is in Japan, so my brother and his wife "forced" me to go out on the town with them. I had planned to come home early since I work at 730am on Jan.1. But nonetheless they tricked me and got me drunk. Way too drunk.

I woke up this morning and headed to work and then 30 minutes later I had to punch out and go home cuz I was so sick and probably still drunk. (I don't teach by the way)

So I have been tardy twice which counts as absent. And today I left sick, so bascially I have 3 strikes against me which means I will get a "written notice" in my record.

This sucks because I want to get a transfer and this does *not* look good. I regret everything last night. It wasn't even that much fun because the alcohal is pure poisen. I got so drunk that I got a little panicky because I had lost control.

I hate alcohol.
