What's it like these days? I'm thinking of a return...

I know of the biggies but don't want to work at the small ones if I can help it (EC, IAY etc).

Rather teach to adults

How's the salary/work these days at

NOVA
AEON
BERLITZ
ELS
NCB
IMA
GEOS (still only hiring in Vancouver and London?)

Any advice appreciated...

Return? Do you mean you have been to Sapporo or just some other place in Japan? When was it?

Salaries and work loads have not changed for over a decade in any place that you mentioned. The length of stay for teachers has dropped a bit. I hear GEOS people and NOVA people average less than a year before they move.

Preferring to teach only to adults will seriously limit you. I only know of one place that does this, and it hires only PT people. No openings now.

A few places have shut down. Trendy House in Sapporo went under due to bad management, for example.
