Hi everyone.
my partner and I are interested in teaching in Vietnam. We've both got BAs and completed CELTA just before Christmas, so as yet we've no teaching experience.
would be really great if you could give us some advice regarding how best to go about finding work: is it best to try and get s.th. sorted before flying out? how diffilcult is it to find work once there? reputable schools, etc. really any advice will be very welcome.
Thanks a lot.

From the Teaching in Vietnam FAQ (coming soon!)

Should I try to get a job before arriving in Vietnam?
In a word, no. As far as I know, only one school advertises widely on the Internet, and they apparently only answer if they are interested. Most schools will not commit to hiring you until they have met you face-to-face.

Once you're in Vietnam, go door-knocking. The best time to visit schools is in the morning or late afternoon, between four and five o'clock. Dress professionally and bring copies of your CV/resum and qualifications. You may want to bring the originals just in case the school would like to see them, but needless to say don't leave them there.

In your case, without experience you are unlikely to get hired from outside the country. You shouldn't have any problem finding work once you're here, depending on the time of year you arrive.
