Does anyone have any reasoning as to why Amity teachers are required to pay for a large portion of their rent, while AEON teachers do not?

Also I looked on the www.aeonet.com site and found that most AEON teachers work at night, however could find nothing about Amity hours? Do Amity teachers also work nights? And are there any AEON shifts that run during the day?

I have no idea what the rent difference is between Aeon and Amity. I assumed they were the same. It also depends on when you joined the school. People that started before Maay 2004 were signed into a contract on 39,000Yen a month. The company raised the rent after many years, and I think it's now 42,000? which is still way lower than other Eikaiwa's.

Amity hours are usually from 11-7, or 12-8. Geos hours are roughly the same 12-8, 12-9, but sometimes it's from 1pm-10pm. NOVA has different hours depending if you're a flexi teacher, or fulltime. Not sure about Aeon working hours.
