Is satellite Tv available in Vietnam ?
After working in China for 2 years and watching Chinese language TV it would be a pleasure to watch English language TV.
I am particularly interested in installation and package costs in an apartment. |

All of the satalite is stolen from Thailand. If it rains in Bangkok things start to get screwed up. You can get HBO, BBC, Star and all of those channels in most places very cheeply. |

Most rooms/apartments come with cable TV already installed - you can usually get ESPN, Star Sports, MTV Asia and CNN, maybe BBC World if you're lucky.
I believe the installation is pretty expensive but it's worth it unless you want to watch Vietnamese TV, which seems to consist entirely of a woman (usually the same woman) leaning against a tree by a river singing about what a top bloke Ho Chi Minh was. |
