I'm sorry the question is a bit unclear

Want to know if I can send my bags unaccompanied as we will be stopping over in another country and staying for a week and we want our bags to go straight back home.
Also if anyone knows the maximum size for oversize luggage/box

Cheers

Since 9/11 sending bags without a person is almost impossible. Planes have been held up and bags taken off when it is discovered for some reason the passenger did not make the flight. Most airports have storage facilities, but don't expect any airline to send your bag anywhere without you on the plane.
It sucks but I guess I understand why,

Only since 9/11? It's been standard practice for years in Europe. No passenger on board means no luggage that is listed under his name.

You'll probably find there's some kind of express parcel company at most major airports, but I don't know for certain about Kansai.

I think it has been more than a few years since unaccompanied baggage has been disallowed from being on board a plane.

Just use a storage locker at the airport. No one is going to handle a strange bag that is sitting around. You should see what they do in Israel when a bag is left unattended for even a couple of minutes.

Well they still have that facility in australia as my brother sent his bag straight to london because he was staying in dubai for 3 nights.

I have also heard of other people experiences regarding this matter.
