There has been a lot of discussion about what men can wear, but what about the women?
Would it be acceptable, for example, for me to wear a light grey cotton skirt and a white blouse? Would I have to wear stockings as well? How about sandals? Or do I have to wear a navy skirt and a white blouse?
Thanks!

This whole "dress code" thing in Thailand is a bit overrated. There are NO specific colors that you "have to" wear. As long as you look reasonably respectable and neat, that is fine. Dress as if you are going to church in the summer.
Thailand is a country that has difficulty getting and retaining good native-speaking TEFL teachers. They can't afford to dictate your style of clothing very much. |

Hi,
The dress in code in my school for us girls is:
blouse (shoulders covered and no cleavage hanging out!)
skirt (on or below the knee)
sandals - no flip-flops / thongs
no trousers.
That's it. We have no colour code at all.
Just dress fairly conservatively and you will be absolutely fine.
