Have a friend interested in a Japanese university job, so last week I sent him the JRECIN address (probably the premier site for Japanese university jobs) below:
http://jrecin.jst.go.jp/
However, he sent me a note yesterday saying the list is down--and apparently has been for at least the last five days. I just tried to connect now as well--no go.
Anybody know what's going on? |

Maybe its down for maintenance or they are adding new jobs.
I have found another site as well that lists university jobs in Japan at http://linguistlist.org. |

Maybe it's maintenance...though they've apparently been down a number of days. Adding new jobs only lasts about 40 minutes--and usually happens in the early mornings.
Yeah, that's a good one, though you have to search for the Japanese jobs. Probably, what I need to do is get off my lazy arse, dig up my JALT number, and send him to the TLT board--if I remember right, they have a number of jobs posted there as well.
