So on the subject of losers.... had an interview for a job in Japan about a month ago, and one of the other guys going for the job came up with this cracker of a line..."the problem with england is wherever you look there is always atleast a dozen people better than you". Think this gut has a chronic case of a chip on his shoulder. Didn't know whether to pity him or to shake him and tell him to pull himself together. i hope when i get to japan i'm not surrounded by people with this type of attitude. Is anybody else out there because they want to experience life outside there own culture, not sure of what direction to take since graduating, and fancy a change of scenery? Am i going to be the only person there without an interest in anime, martial arts, J-girls etc.

Hi richn_23,

To me it seems you have described most of the Brits I know, including a family member who displays acute symptoms of the affliction your co-canidate was suffering from.

What are your interests?

Kind regards,
s

Sweetsee,

Your school sounds like the one I worked in last year. Do yourself a favour and leave, man. No money is worth it. I only did 3 months at that school and I still regret not just walking out when the little sh*ts started yet again. Like you I wasn't allowed to tick them off and got into trouble when I did (didn't stop me though, heh).

Just decide what you are going to scream at them when you finally quit in your next payday, do it and flounce out. Don't ruin your exit by tripping.

Good luck. Seriously, look for something else. Someone on this forum gave me that advice and it was the best I could have got.

Hi L,

You are very sweet. Thanks for thinking of me. My school is a microcosm of Japanese society and until I am prepared to flounce out of that I will continue to be an occacional ray of sunshine in those people's lives.

Warm regards,
s
