Is there any kind of get-together for ESL/EFL teachers in Jakarta? I have just started a job teaching business English and it would be great if I could get together with some other business English teachers or just regular ESL/EFL teacheers in Jakarta to talk shop, exchange ideas, and make our jobs easier by sharing information. If we could get this going it would be a good place to share information about jobs, too.
Btw, I know a company looking for an experienced qualified English teacher to oversee an English program in a college once a month by doing a once-a-month visit. They want an expat and they can pay round $150 for one day a month. Saturdays are okay. I also know of a company looking for an expat to teach presentation skills in March for around $2000 for all the classes. |
