i'll be marrying my korean partner in march then heading over to japan for my job. she'll come in on a dependent's visa, so i want to know if she's able to go to a japanese langugae school on the such a visa?
she wants to study japanese but also work p-t, earning less than 1,000,000 per year of course......
anyone got any ideas, advice, or info. for me on what she can or can't do on a dependent's visa?

The MOFA site says the activities your spouse is authorized to engage in with a dependent visa are "daily living activities". Taking a language class is pretty much one of those, in my book. Never heard of anyone being turned down for such a thing. In my old eikaiwa, we had a few foreigners taking classes, so as long as you have the money, why not? Enjoy! |
