I have all but one year left to earn my degree. In order to get the money to finishI need to get good job. Since I plan to teach after I graduate I would rather earn the money overseas.
What countries can I get a job in that will allow me to save about 7000 US in a year without a degree?
I don't know if this matters but I have experience living overseas in the Middle East and Africa |

7000 USD? That must mean you are American, right?
Americans cannot qualify for work visas without a degree, and they cannot get working holiday visas. So, I suggest thinking hard about finishing school FIRST, then landing some sort of conversation school job. |

The countries where you don't need a degree are not the countries where you stand a chance of saving 7000 USD. |

When you find one, let us all know, won't you? I'm sure some of us with degrees and experience would like a chance to save that kind of dosh too. |

In Indonesia, I was able to save up about $5500 US in a year without really trying. If I had budgeted carefully I'm sure I could have saved more money. I have a bachelors degree - but some of my co-workers did not.
That said, I would suggest to the OP that it would be much wiser to finish the degree now, even if you have to work part-time and take an extra semester or two to finish your degree.
If you go overseas before finishing your degree, I think you may encounter yet even more delays. Get a McJob and save up money in your home country so you can finish your degree before going overseas. |

I am in China right now and if I were to spend 1/3 of the money I make per month then I could save about $6000US in 12 months. Of course, everything is payed for and I don't save as much as I should, but if I wanted to I could save over around $8000US.
By the way, I don't have a degree. I also only work 10 hours a week.
If you wanted to work more hours you could easily save enough money.

I've been working in Saudi for the past 4yrs putting away about $10,000 a year without trying, and I only have a TEFL. Of course here it's all about money, don't expect any academic glory. |

He needs a degree first and$7000 USD/year would be easy to save on JET. |

Niko is right, Saudi Arabia is a great place to save money. Not only are tax-free salaries relatively generous (though not as generous as they used to be) but free housing, medical care and often transport are thrown in too. Not only that, but because of the dearth of "entertainment" in KSA, there is little to tempt you to part with your hard earned cash (though there is the gold suk...)
The down side to living in KSA is, of course, well known, and for many is too high a price to pay for the extra zeros in your bank account. |

I have earned $8000 before taxes in one summer. Normally I have earned about $5000 during summer vacation. I have studied for seven years so I am well accustomed to summer working possibilities in the U.S. If you can live with your parents for a few months it is possible to earn this money in the U.S. Even if you just work at resturants. If you want to earn $8000 in three months you need to work at least 60 hours a week. I used to work in a call center and worked lost of overtime and got bonuses for the sales that I made. |

It's not just a question of how much money one makes in order to save X amount of money; it is also a question of proper budgeting and self control. Can you NOT go out and get hammered with your buddies? I know I never could.
Of course, if you really want to save 7k/year and more, you might consider Saudi Arabia. A friend of mine has been there for the past 5 years earning $50,000/yr. US tax free, everything paid by the company.
Oh. I forgot: SA is also a first class hell hole in the desert where the question: "How old is your sister?" will get you in a deeper trouble than you will ever hope to climb out of. On the plus side, they will help you save money since there is absolutely nothing to do. You couldn't spend your money even if you tried, unless you want do donate your dough to the local terrorists. |
