I am looking for certification in Latin America, specifically Mexico. I would like to find a course that is legitimate and recognized by employers throughout Latin America (or the world, just to be covered), is fairly priced, and provides job assistance and additional support (such as resources for teachers and help with adjusting to a new lifestyle) after certification.
Can anyone recommend a course, or even tell me which courses NOT to take?

The Trinity TESOL certificate isn't available in Mexico, and the CELTA is only offered at one school.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying here. If you're saying that the only place in Mexico to take CELTA is in Puebla, then what about the CELTA course offered at International House in Playa del Carmen?
As for the Trinity TESOL certificate, according to a Trinity rep at a workshop I attended just a few weeks ago, the course can be arranged to be taken almost anywhere in Mexico, if I understood her correctly. |
