I've just noticed a job advertised on the job board entitled "A Life Changing Experience in China". The job is in Linfen in Shanxi. I worked at a middle school in Linfen for a few months and would not recommend the place to anyone.
I notice that they don't tell you Linfen is the filthiest city in China.
Unless the Job is at the University, I doubt they can get you a proper work visa too (one of my problems).
My advice would be that unless you're really prepared for it, don't go! I've been in China for most of the last 5 years and my Shanxi experience was by far the worst I've had here.

Please be careful! It's most definitely not a place to go to your first time in China. |
