I was wondering if anyone knew an english speaking doctor in Osaka. If so, location, contact details and any info on price would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If you go to the ward office, there is a book called, "Enjoy Osaka." It has a lot of information in there, including English speaking doctors. You will have to narrow your focus on what kind of doctor you want, rather than being very general. It's more specialized in Japan.

And how about one in the Chiba area, or more specifically, Funabashi? We had to take our child in last week and the process was rather frustrating for us--and seemingly painful for the doctor/staff. They tried their best but since we could not get them to prioritize the ailments (lots of things were wrong with our child), we got medication for things that a day's rest might have done it, you know? And the major issues were ignored...or misunderstood. (We know some Japanese language, but we are new to the area so we don't have any J-friends to assit). We'd appreciate an English speaking doctor.

You can contact the AMDA International Medical Information Center at 06-4395-0555. It is a free of charge service and is advertised every week in the Kansai Flea Market. I have never used them, but was given their number by a Japanese friend when I first arrived in Osaka. I have given the number to two friends and they were both referred to English speaking doctors and were happy with it.

They speak English. If you desire a specialist of specific type of doctor, just let them know.

This link should help you find the information you need on English speaking doctors and pediatricians.
