Do you think this one is any good trying to get Chinese students to learn how to pronounce "v" as opposed to "w"?

As an image-sort-of-guy, I'd put it:
Wielding THE shivered vase, Willy VONNEGUT bellowed with vexation---"Very well!� .
shivered??? (shattered???but...no "v/w") How about ...?
