Just wanted to know if the school or the Immigration even bothers to check your credentials, since I've heard of ppl getting the Working Visa with fakes credentials.
On another note are Immigration Lawyers/Service worth it?

The mere fact that someone may check your credentials should be enough reason to come here with real ones. Fake credentials, if discovered, will get you fired, fined, and potentially in trouble with immigration. Why risk it? |

Yeah I know that, just asking though.
Currently looking at the Immigration Service.
Can anyone tell me what a Special Visa is? Try searching for it on the net but with no luck. And is an Instructor Visa the same thing as a Working Visa, are the requirement the same? |

I don't think you need to pay for any immigration/visa service unless you have some specific problem or issue. The employer will let you know how to proceed.
There are a couple of people on this board that are up on the visa details. There are various types of work visas. The one that you will probably come over on is "Specialist in Humanities". I am on a different visa now as I no longer work for an eikaiwa. And there are other visas for entertainers, etc. |

Go to this web site for basic questions/answers about visas in Japan.
http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/
And, spylord, if you knew the consequences and the mere potential for risk with a fake credential, why ask about it? The risk is there. Period. Some people are caught. Some are not. Period. Do you have fake credentials? (rhetorical question. I don't expect you to answer. Big Brogher may be looking.) |
