AsiaTraveller,

Either he 1) blew his cover, 2) somehow thought of himself as his friend and switched to first person accidently, or 3) he cut and paste from his friend's e-mail.

Good you pointed out the inconsistency; I was a bit confused myself.
But just take it easy!

herman,

I'm taking it very "easy." I always do. Especially when we're having fun.

Cool

So he was trying to pass off his problem as that of a "friend" and wasn't careful enough to conceal it in all his posts. Who cares?

The point raised about international schools / finacle and social issues is a very valid one.

However it is more that just international schools, it is EMI / CMI.

Yesterday, as I waited for the lift, a Chinese female student buckling under the weight of new text books got in.

I always peek at the books students are carrying. All the books were in chinese. So chances are she goes to a CMI school.

One one hand, I was impressed with teh appearance of quality fo the books, although you can't judge a book by it's cover.

I thought what a hard working student, so much to read. Then I pondered, in a CMI, she probbably just studies English as a subject.

Whilst she will have excellent subject knowledge, judging by the number of books she is carrying..... she may find herself restricted to work in a supporting role in her carreer .

The reason being that fluent English is now a true social divider.

This beign said , I do not under estimate the value and importance of Mandarin, nor do I know anythign about her abilities in English.

Just I find it sad that the EMB don't allow students themslevels to choose the medium of instruction in schools.

"FUN", AsiaTraveller, I am curious about your definition of "FUN".

From my perspective your definition of 'fun' is to point out someone's error and imply that they are lying. To point their error out again and to tell the crowd that they are lying.

I think yours is a curious definition of fun, but my friend hopes you are enjoying yourself Exclamation

Why don't you two both grow up?

'Chris', you need to either do some work on your spelling (it's atrocious) or you need a spell checker.
