I think there are some posts on the Job Information Journal about Winbe. Cant tell you with any certainty but I think it depends on the branch you are sent to. This may be of interest to you

My friend worked for Winbe in Osaka a few years back. They treated her pretty well, gave her a huge apartment. She taught kids and adults, at a school very close to her apartment and another only 5mins away by train. She left when her contract finished which is usually a good sign. |

if you quit without completing the contract they will often try to fine you 60,000yen but it is illegal. Unions have been successful in stopping this for their members. Join before the problem happens.

on the Winbe Union site it says that fine is no more. Is there word that they are still forcing people to pay that illegal fine? |

i spoke to someone who still had it in their contract but they may have signed it before the agreement came about. |
