Though I don't agree with 'Mel's Gospel'...I do have to say that he moved the world with this film...
that said...You DO KNOW that you can always read the story for yourself and then form much of the same images in your own mind...
The cross was SERIOUS business...
Oh Yeah!...just about as serious as god telling you how much he loves you... |

I thought you were leaving. Watch out for that doorknob, now.... |

Thanks to the overwhelming response to my posts on Daves, yes, I will continue to add my own 'special' flavour from time to time...I know where I am needed and...WHEN I am needed...
Thank you all for your unwavering support...may I continue to do you justice

There is probably few greater injustices than Paulie speaking in our name. |

Does anyone remember a rather short-lived tv show in the 80's called 'The Greatest American Hero"? It was about a bumbling, clumsy super hero. The character was a sweet helpful type, but unsure of his powers so that he would fly clumsily and accidentally save the day.
The theme song...trying to remember it. It was a beegees track I think. |

I don't think Mel was in this one. |

Ah that's it!
Apparently, Nickelback and Hanson (Children of the Corn - git em!) covered this song.
Look at what's happened to me,
I can't believe it myself.
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world,
It should've been somebody else.
Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free eee eee.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.
It's like a light of a new day,
It came from out of the blue.
Breaking me out of the spell I was in,
Making all of my wishes come true ue ue.
Believe it or not,
I'm walking on air.
I never thought I could feel so free eee eee.
Flying away on a wing and a prayer.
Who could it be?
Believe it or not it's just me.
Just for you Paulie. I'm gonna have that song in my head all day now. |

There is a phrase that is once in a while used around these parts - it may be fitting here...'Enferma en de cabeza!'...
All I have to go by regarding my posts is that there are some 'little dogs' that keep nipping at my heels...they don't really cause much of a sensation...simply a bit annoying, as I'm sure is their intent...
One could call them 'cybergroupies' I suppose...for lack of a better term...
Anyway...my MESSAGE is that GOD could love them to...providing they repent and turn from their unbelief...
Of course...they probably can't see the trees for the forest...unless of course one happens to fall on them |

Round here, we just say 'loco'. I might just start using 'gone Paulie' to describe the syndrome. Something akin to 'gone postal', though it isn't fair to postal workers to make the comparison.

No, I don't imagine they would now, would they? As I'm sure your quite medicated, nothing gets through does it? |

Paulie didn't read the No Nuts Allowed signs before he started trying to feed us word salad. |

In Mel's gospel...wasn't it a raven that pecked the eyes out of the poor, unrepentant thief on the cross?...or did I just imagine that?...MAYBE it was a Yug |

I guess the next 'big one' to come is 'Crusader' (by the director of 'Gladiator') - should have enough blood, guts and gore to please even the most sacriligious among us... |

If you insist in believing in God, can you please keep it to yourself? Last weekend we were having a beer and God told me he can't stand people like you.
Look, if you will promise to shut the f**k up, God said he will save you a seat at the most high garbage repository... I told him it was far better than you deserved , but he said that he was sick of you talking so he was willing to try anything.
