Yes, They are! Also beige is the new black!
At least MAs are job related.

Still here. Thinking about the EFL and mental health thread. Do any of you guys have to work Satudays? |

Not here, though I have in the past... it just seems like the week never really ends. |

If your work week includes Saturdays, then I would hope/guess that you get a Sunday/Monday weekend?
A friend of mine had Sundays and Tuesdays off for a while. Yuck!

At my last school I had to work blocks of 8 Saturdays, followed by free weekends of 16 Saturdays.
At the school I work now, if a stat holiday falls on a Tuesday or Thursday, we're given the Monday/Friday off - but we have to "make up" for this 'extra' day by working a Saturday...
I've complained that I'd just as soon have a single mid-week holiday and then get the Saturday off, but alas... |

Nope. It's just part of the contract for salaried people in my private HS. You are expected to work an AVERAGE of every other Saturday, which comes to 2 or 3 of them every month. If events fall into place in just the right way, you could actually work back to back Saturdays 2 or 3 times. Then you might have 2 or 3 off in a row. It just depends on the school schedule.
Hey, could be worse. The football team practices 7 days a week, and anyone assisting the coach does that, too. |

I've been working a lot of Saturdays lately, but the number of mornings a week where I can sleep in till noon if I like are still rather high compared to my friends back home, so I feel fortunate. I hardly know the meaning of an alarm clock, as long as I get to bed at a reasonable hour. |
