Has anyone heard of an organisation or school called Inkur? Any information would be appreciated.

Hi there,

Do you mean Inkur in Izmit? I worked for Ekin Dershane, which was down the street, pre-earthquake. They had a few foreign teachers that i never met. One of my collegues knew the crowd and said they complained of being overworked, but i can't guarantee this. The building looked ok from the outside, it was big, they always had a big crowd of high school students around the entrance smoking & snacking, and i never heard any horror stories of the kind I occasionally hear about on the forum. if you move to Izmit, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you live in a neighborhood called yahya kaptan. You have to take a minibus to work, but there are some other foreigners there, everything works, and the buildings are probably the best in the area for earthquakes.

Good luck...
