Wow! Great coordination.

That was exactly her reaction, too! Actually, she said she found his biking skills far more amazing than what he had to flash.

They had to be phenomenal (his biking skills)--otherwise he would have crashed.

That makes me think of the only time in my life I've ever been "flashed"..

I was walking down the street of drunkards in Oaxaca, and this guy was so drunk that he couldn't even turn away from me while he was using the space between two cars as a public toilet! Shocked Laughing

He just laughed in a sheepish kind of way, and staggered a bit!

I wouldn't call that flashing.

I just remembered one of my stupid roommate stories and I thought I would post it. When I arrived here in Mexico I shared a house with another teacher who has a pet rabbit. We owned nothing and the house wasnt furnished. Slowly we were buying things to use in the house. One day I bought two cookie sheets for using in the KITCHEN. One day, one of them was missing. I didnt think much of it until it had been gone for two or three weeks. I asked her about it, and her reply was, "Oh, yeah, I have it." Nothing more than that.

After about a month, the cookie sheet resurfaced. It was obvious what she (and the rabbit) had been using it for as the urine had eaten away at the finish. Nevertheless, she put it back in the cabinet with the rest of the kitchen supplies like nothing was wrong with it...Beware, she is still in Mexico.

Anyone have any other good stories to share?

Eeeck, that's disgusting.

I think visas issued to foreigners to teach English should specifically forbid them from owning pets. English teachers with pets do some of the filthiest things I have ever seen, even worse than anything I have ever done.

Here in Korea these people are always "rescuing" animals then trying to fob them off onto other teachers when their contracts run out. Throw 'em in the soup, I say.
