If you had done a search, you would have yielded this old thread:

http://www.eslcafe.com/forums/job/viewtopic.php?t=22811&highlight=bernard

There is a Dave's forum-goer by the name of joncharles who works (or worked) there. You may want to fire off a PM to him with your questions.

Franjipani,

If you choose to work at Bernard, my advice to you would be to keep your nose clean. Unless of course you plan on doing some heavy brownnosing.
If you are going to complain, take a deep breath and count to ten. This is considered the number one "thing not to do" if you want to keep things running smoothly for yourself.
Be weary of cliches and gossip for these tend to run rampant at this location. No doubt if a current Bernard employee reads this message it will definitely cause a stir.

Step lightly and speak softly

p.s. On a positive note, some of the people that work there have the kindest of hearts and noblist of intentions. However, some don't have the experience and know-for all to back them up.

Good Luck

I am sure there are some things that don't go well here at Bernard as with other eikaiwas'... but since I have been here it has been good. I was told about problems before.. And we still have an occasional teacher skip on us. That happens at most schools. Overall many of the people I know here are happy. It's not perfect. Sometimes the office seems a bit disorganized.. I think you can say that about many Japanese companies lol. I am just one person. I can ( from my perspective) talk about what is happening now at the school. I can't speak to what has happened in the past. You can always PM me if you have further inquiries and then I can be more specific about some problems and some of the positive things.

Check this out from another forum. I saw this posted on Gaijin Pot by someone there too but it was deleted on GP:
