| Looking for someplace to stay in Jakarta, cheap and cheerful but must have a private bathroom, whilst I look for a teaching job. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks. |

| You'd be best off staying in a kost. You pay month by month. For something quite decent in central(ish) jakarta, you'd be looking at around Rp2million a month (about US$200), give or take a few hundred thousand. This usually includes daily cleaning, laundry, electricity, private bathroom, air con, basic furniture, TV. PM me if you'd like some places to try. |
