These are some sites I used, along with the pollution list posted elsewhere, when I was looking for a school. They were a starting point to narrow down the list of cities and schools I was interested in. Since I return to the States a couple of times a year I was only interested in public colleges and Unis so that's the focus of the sites.

To find Colleges and Universities in any province:

To find weather information about cities in China:

For current weather forecasts:
http://weather.yahoo.com/regional/CHXX.html

Info about a city (usually in Chinese):
www.cityname.gov.cn (for example, [url]www.dalian.gov.cn [/url]- look for the English link then look for the Education link) If these sites are in English they will usually list the smaller colleges not on the list above.
