Does anyone here work for a public school?
I have a question regarding the contract itself - that's why I preffer someone Turkish to answer.
When you quit, what are the terms to come back to a contract. I know that for the yabanci's its probably different than turks, so if some knows how it goes please PM me or answer here.
Is it possible to quit and come back a few years later? what are the chances to get accepted? Is it possible to "freeze" the contract in some way?
Any information is welcomed.
Thank you |

Freeze the contract and come back a few years later. I am sure that public schools don`t have systems in place for that. |

did you sign a multi-year contract? What kind of terms would you be leaving on? I actually don't know how it works for the public schools, but I would think that if you leave on good terms and have good contacts, you would be likely to be hired back. |

The person who might be leaving is a Turkish Citizen. therefore it would be a multi-year contract (as far as I know)
I think that good connections always help in those cases however this is no a private organization that makes it's own decisions therefore I wanted people who have the right experience to answer... not assume |

Because in Turkey, Sometimes practical experience is more important than what's in the "book of rules".
For instance, the working visa for ESL teachers. |
