| If you're getting paid less that 250,000 yen a month and living in Tokyo you won't be able to have fun either. Having fun here is not cheep. If I had a VERY good time my wallet is likely at least 100-200 USD lighter. Of course you can have fun on the cheep, and I usually do. But be aware that accepting lower wages to live and work in one of the most exspensive cities in the world may not be the smartest of choices. Plus, you don't have to live in Japan's biggest city to have a good time. And there's always your vacation... not everyone can cope with a huge city like Tokyo on a daily basis, but visiting can sure be fun. |

Thanks for all the advice~!!
I'm off to Tokyo next Monday. I'll just have to learn to live on a budget. I've been in Seoul, Korea for a while, so saving cash in the big city is nothing new to me. Of course Seoul and Tokyo are totally different worlds, but I've gone down $200 USD in a weekend easily here too...that's somewhat of an average weekend...
Nonstop to Tokyo~!! |
