Hello,
I have applied to some non-teaching jobs in Marketing/Business and PR. I have heard back from some of the companies I applied to. However, since I have only been in China for a year, and am not familiar with the salary ranges outside of ESL Teaching, I was hoping someone could help me out a little. What sort of salary should I look for and what's a decent starting salary to ask for something entry-level? Is it comparable to teaching? More? Less? Most of the places I applied to are in the Shanghai area.
Thanks

It really depends on the postion.
Is it entry level position? What responsibilities will you have? Are they looking for native speakers? What qualifications do they want? Experience?
If you can provide this we could probably answer your question a little better. |

Most of them are entry level. Some editing, some writing, some event-planning involved in all of them. I don't know what the starting salaries are. |
