Does anyone have any information about Com Com? I was told that they hadn't paid their teachers in two months and that they were nearly broke. Is this true?

Plus, I also heard that Cleverlearn in Shenzhen is in dire straits and will soon close thier doors. Does anyone know about the current situation in these schools?

Any help is appreciated.

Haven't heard of these folks, but I would think if teachers hadn't been paid in two months, we would have heard about it. People tend to get loud in here with not so big problems. I'd imagine no pay for two months they'd be screaming...

Unless of course they can't afford to use the internet.

that teacher's are basically being held hostage. If you complain, sign a petition, talk to the labor bureau or anything else then you lose all the pay owed. If you are a good soldier then you will get your pay (eventually). Plus, they have paid part of the money owed to teacher you can demonstrate a dire need like rent or hospital bills, but then the reciepts are required. If you are fired for any reason then you lose all right to ANY payment of money owed. As a result, many teachers are walking a tightrope. Waiting to get paid before they can jump ship...

Sounds bad, but let it be known that I heard all this from a disgruntled teacher. So...That is why I asked if anybody had any more info.
