I agree with you Kent-he was impressive! But like I said, never trust exK.G.B. or Stasi agents!
Putin is a very shrewd guy and not easily undermined-but don't worry about what you wrote the other day as I don't think you will ever disappear in Russia-you know where to draw the line a lot more than I do!

Cheers for now!

My best Russian friend told me that kids there sometimes get electrocuted when they try to steal copper wiring from high-voltage cables on the rail network,so I can believe they steal manhole covers too!It seems to be part of the inherited culture in Russia to steal almost anything which could be sold for cash or exchanged for something else!In Thailand they call these kind of people "kamoys!"But if you come over here to Cyprus, especially in Paphos where I live, there are holes and craters everywhere on the pavements and roads, from the incessant construction boom, and inefficient town planning schedule, which means somewhere is dug-up and then resurfaced by one service provider-and then again a few weeks later by a different one! There are bricks and building materials dumped everywhere and left unguarded at night-if it was Russia, they would of course disappear in no time, and since the influx of Greeks from Georgia,Russia and Ukraine etc. which began about 10 years ago and now number several thousand here, things have of course started to change and unattended objects seem to grow legs!
