There's something I was wondering...When I get to BA in October, I'm probably not going to have enough money to afford a gym, so I was planning on running for exercise-and to see the city more. Is that a normal thing in BA? Do people go running in the parks or through the city? Will it be weird if people see a young woman (24) in a tank top and shorts running around?? I don't want to go there and do that and be known as that crazy girl who runs around all over!!!
thanks!!!

Hola,
When the days were warmer, I used to see a heap of people jogging in Palermo and it's green areas. When I head off in the very early morning to Puerto Madero, I also see a few joggers, doing their little circles around the Diques. So yeah - it's something people do.
As a side note, a lot of gyms are very affordable. The one I used to go to was ARS30/month (that included use of weights and all but no classes), which is not too bad. Only swimming pools are really expensive!
Hope this helps!
