Hi Annie ... TED Bursa will be starting the IB diploma course in September, but I'm not certain about whether they'll be doing MYP or PYP. As you probably know, this year's 8th grade were their first class to graduate from the middle school. Those students will start a pre-IB course in September. The guy TED Bursa have brought in to be their IB coordinator (or principal?) is Kayhan Karli. He's someone who taught maths in the East End of London for two years, so can relate to the problems that foreign teachers might have - he's a good man to work with.

Interestingly, although TED Ankara are major players in the IB game, not all TED schools do the IB - for example I'm fairly certain that TED Istanbul are NOT members of IBO. As for TED Kayseri, I don't know.

Why?

I'm seriously wondering whether I should post it and than cause them damage, or
PM you and keep the damage to myself Smile

Choose Smile
But in anycase, it's not because of the town, it's the school that you don't want to work in.
It's hooooooorrrrrriiiiiiiibbbbllllllleeeeeeeee

Cause them damage?

How is posting here going to cause them damage? The parents aren`t reading this and even if one or two had the English to read this do you think they would be impressed enough by this forum to withdraw their kids? Fees are all that matter for private colleges and keeping the parents happy is how to keep the fees rolling in. If a potential teacher decides not to work at a school it is just a tiny inconvenience to get a new one. They can always get teachers just not always the ones they might want. Even if they were a few foreign bodies short the fees won`t stop while they are trawling for more.
