It's really the luck of the draw on how well your kids are behaved. Mine are pretty good on the whole, but I've heard a couple of horror stories so take anything you have with a grain of salt.
I've found the staff and school directors pretty supportive at the schools that I'm at. So, unless for some odd reason you get off on the wrong foot, you should be fine in regards to the staff. |

Hey Sage,
Where have you seen my passports?
The bubble bee stickers are made by Sandylion. I brought all my stickers from Canada.
I graduated with an arts degree and I'm not in that field here, so I have to express myself with my numerous stamps and stickers.
Did you notice I give my students tongue twisters too? |

Yeah, I did. You use a crazy metallic pen on dark paper. Very artsy
I also noticed your name/date stamper. It's pretty cute/funny. |

Have you ever met a Japanese person who didn't like stickers? Also, I think it's good to have teachers who have unique persionalities. How exciting would class be for you if all your teachers wanted to sleep with you, hated you and their job, or were as interesting as watching paint dry?
Oh, and it's more like four or five per passport. It's nice, show's she cares, and people like it. It's win win. |
Yeah, Why DO they all like stickers and cute cartoony animals so much. |

The answer is a bit complex, but...
Lets just say that after you boil it all down Japan is run by 15 year old girls, at least when it comes to fashion and pop culture.
Japan loves cute. |

I see your passports all over but we don't have any of the same shifts.
Maybe we'll meet one day but I don't think it'll happen unless it's at a training session.
Rock on artsy girl. Rock on.

Do ECC hire in Japan or only overseas?
If anyone has been hired by ECC while in Japan, what was the interview process like? |

My neighbor used to be a JET and he got hired by ECC. I don't know how the interview went, I could ask him. He is working in public high schools. |

He doesn't work for the regular ECC that we work for. He works for ECC Best Career. It operates under different management, I think. The contract is different for sure. I think that they get paid more. Not sure about that though. |
