I thought this person was a school employee when I applied for a job but upon entering his e-mail address into search engines just now, I found various job ads for different schools throughout China under two different e-mail addresses (@163.com and @126.com). So maybe he's actually a recruiter and this explains why the contract appendix he sent me was SO vague. Has anyone else dealt with him before?

Ok, I checked google, and it looks like most of those hits went to www.tefl.cc. For those of you not in the know, that's the webpage of the infamous recruiter, Alin Buer, (Buuer?). Looks like he's been changing his name a lot recently, (can't remember what his other one was), in an effort to avoid his reputation. Is this the Qingdao school? If so, I'd stay clear of it. That's where I first ran into Mr. Buuer. He definately strikes me as one of the snakier characters I've come across, and I'm definately not the only one.

Yeah it's the same Qingdao school me and you talked about in private. No problem, he gave me the school's web site in his initial e-mail and I guess he didn't realize I could read Chinese. I went on the school's site and discovered that his e-mail address was not on the school's hiring page.

This individual "Frank Zhuang" (I know the e-mail says FrOnk) came across as pushy. He wanted me to sign the contract in his first e-mail to me. Then he told me that I wouldn't be able to get work permit yet he is still asking me to sign the contract.

Avoid Fronk Zhang a/k/a Alin Bueur / aka/Eric a dozen other aliases....

One of the most SINISTER characters in the business in China.

Plus Yakup, plus Wacheng International, plus Enlighten Education. Pure thieves.
