Quite honestly, a lot of people going overseas lack the ability to get on their bike and hound stuff up. You can go anywhere in the world and get work that way, certainly, but not everyone can hack it -- which is why I don't tell general unknown people on the interent to try it. |

fair enough-- i see where both of you gentlemen are coming from
let me clarify as well. i am a 22 year old male only a year out of college coming out to thailand for kicks and a bit of experience in ESL. TedKarma, you seem to knock the 30,000 baht a month salary, but it is, indeed, because you are an older guy with more specific lifestyle needs. i myself, along with many friends, find the salaries quite good and live a very comfortable lifestyle within that pay scale. |
