Hope one and all are ok. I know how you feel During the H.S.B.C attack in Istanbul I went mad with worry. The first report was of a high rise bank office in the Levent area being attacked, my wife works in the Yapi Kredi tower in Levent within walking distance to the HSCB building. I had no way of reaching her and it was good two hours later I found out she was being held in her office. They had to stay in for four hours before the cops lead them away.
God help all of you in the U.K today our thoughts are with you. |

Yes.. it looks like the little minded evil cowards are at it again. Too bad Raid can't make a spray, or trap, to catch these maggots and exterminate them and do the rest of the world a good deed. |

latest report is 37 dead, with more critically injured not expected to last. Miraculously, only two people died on the packed London double decker bus (see the photos of what's left.) The bus blew up directly outside the British Medical Association, where there was, by chance, a meeting of specialists in emergency care going on, and that saved a lot of lives. there's some informed speculation going on that the two who died were the bombers themselves, on their way to plant the bomb on another underground train. |

I too hope that anyone with friends or family there are all well.
I lost a dear family friend in the Istanbul bombings and my thoughts are with the people of London. |

32 years of life having to live with terrorism, i say everyone in the world must come together to stop these fucking bustards without stipulating anything. When i was a kid i saw 2 bombings by ASALA (The armenian terrorists) and then some years later some other bustards put a bomb into a flowerpot in my school.Fortunately, the police found it. Some years later PKK started to attack shopping malls, police stations, bus stops, everywhere and new year eve in 2001 they put a bomb in front o f a shop in Istiklal street and i was about to sit on it. After 11 of Sept. my wife was in danger because she was working in the tallest building in Turkey and she spent two weeks watching planes on the 28th floor and i spent 4 weeks listening to radio whether there is a hijacked plane or not ... My son was born on 20th November (day of HSBC and BC bombings) and it was a difficult birth, too much stress and fear everywhere even in our room inthe hospital. Last year i had a late lunch in Sehremini and when i came back to school which is 1o minutes by walk, i heard the explosion and again there was terror in my life .... i think there is going to be more fear and terror in my ( and your ) life because all these bombers had excususes to hide ... asala the rebellion army to protect the rights of the Armenians , DHKPC the group who believe that they are going to bring communism by bombing my school or the bus.PKK which is another phenomenon and supported by the superior powers . Now El Kaiide
The French Government helped ASALA for years and years ...Turkish government is supporting the USA against terrorism with letting them use the ports and military bases and our friend Bush is helping us with letting the PKK train in Iraq and penetrate to Turkey. Are these people going to stop terrorism? |

Damn, whynotme, you're a lucky man and it looks like your luck has rubbed off on your family. I say this not because you had so many close calls but because you escaped them in one piece.
I don't think this will ever stop, unless they solve the fundamental social and economic problems that cause this kind of thinking. Not likely, since while they're hunting down the elusive Osama on one hand, they're still perpetrating the same crimes with the other.
I don't think there's really ways to find these people.
And I really don't understand any of this.

I dont think they do either. Do you remember a few months ago the palestine kid who was stopped at the Israeli border with a bomb strapped to himself. He really didnt know waht was going on. |

Do you remember Refah ripping off charity money and sending it to Chechen terrorists and treating wounded Chechen terrorists in Turkish hospitals?
Do you remember those Chechen terrorists who took those people hostage in a hotel in Taksim and then escaped (guffaw guffaw-I thought escape was an intransitive verb) from prison a few months later? |
