Do not use any agency in Britain or North America to study at the Tmer Institute in Ankara.
I am paying 1000 dollars U.S. for an 80 hour Turkish language course at the Tmer Institute University of Ankara. Other students already in Turkey are paying only between 100-240 dollars for the same course. Yes Tmer applies different fees according to which country you are from. In my class a Bangladeshi paid 124 dollars for the course, but a Japanese guy paid 240 dollars for the same course...in Turkey you can negotiate everything including language course fees!
I should mention that I have a homestay thrown in but that is hardly worth the extra dollars. In Ankara you can find some very decent hotels in the 10 to 15 million range with breakfast. Anakara is dirt cheap for meals with many of the Cafeteria style restaurants charging only 2 million or less for a 4 course meal (e.g. soup, a main course, rice, dessert and as much bread and water as your belly requires). |

Hi ghost
Remember me yeah thats right one of those people you don't answer questions to,pity really if you told me you were going to Tomer for Turkish lessons I could have told you a course of 24 hours cost only (wait for it ) 72 dollars and if you have a Turkish partner you get a 50% discount so wise arse what do you think about that ???
Next time when you need to know something important you know who to ask ,but, ask nicely . |
