We live in a strange, voyerisitic society. Do people really need to listen to audio of people fearing for their lives ?

I don't, and I didn't, but if you want to you can link from here

What do you think ?

No thanks. I can and do appreciate the danger they were in, but I wouldn't listen to that. It's creepy.

And, similarly, I'm not sure that I would want my own cries of desperation listened to after the fact. Especially after I got out. Who knows what I would be saying at that moment? I certainly wouldn't want to listen to myself, much less have others listen.

And with the British sense of poise and dignity, I'm sure many of them would prefer not to have their moment of terror available for anyone to tune into. It's not Top 40.

According to the BBC, London hotel rates 'rocketed' on the night; supply and demand and all that...
